The name is centered in the picture because I dislike to be anchored down (as to a right or left justification.) The Field and clouds show my heritage (coming from a farm area) and my tendency to often have my "head in the clouds," so to speak. The NASCAR image was a pic taken by me at one of the MIS events a few years back. It shows not only my love for NASCAR, but also for cars and speed. There is a near seamless blend between the images to show that these parts of me are not simply separate entities or personalities, but me as a whole. The name shows a mask of the image underneath it in more saturated colors. This was chosen because, despite my enjoyment of being odd and getting weird responses, in a crowd I can still be lost, and tend to be shy initially. Originally the name blended in with the background more, but I figured it to be a little too hard to read, so I decided to have it show a little better. The typography is a little playful and is arranged in a wave/twist fashion because I do not typically like to be taken seriously all the time and love to be crazy and playful, hidden in the crowd or not. The use of vignette adds a sense of a dream to parallel the "head in the clouds" idea of the pic as I often daydream.
